The controls of the game itself is very easy to understand.

Your character moves around using the arrow-keys.

To attack or talk to an NPC press the CTRL button when you are right next and with a direction on the NPC.

When a NPC drops loot (or you simply find something on the ground) stand above it and press ENTER to pick it up.

To run faster, hold the SHIFT button.

2. — Spells —

Using spells can be tricky, but it is in fact very easy.

First you have to learn a spell. Try finding someone who sells

spells, make sure you can use the spell too (by looking for the right class and level). A salesman often sells the spells by paperscrolls. Doubleclick the scroll and you’ve learned the spell.

First off you need a target. Go out and find an enemy NPC. Press the NPC once, and you will notice that a yellow text in the chatscreen, that says you’ve targeted it. Now rightclick the spell (which is located at the spell icons bar).

Watch out for draining the mana,

in that case find potions, fruit or a fairy pond.

Using Chat Macros

Notes: Chat Macros store and receive data, in order to function. This data is stored in the config.ini file, that should be in your Hyrule Online folder. If you ever need to change the macros, without being in game, you can do so there. In order to make room for the Chat macros, I had to relocate the screenshot keys, instead of F11 and F12 they are now located at F6 and F7.

Open up the chat macros form, by pressing F2. You should see four textboxes with a checkbox next to each one. Clicking this checkbox will toggle whether or not the chat macros, are broadcasted, or simply said for the map you are in. Fill the textboxes up with your sentences of choice. Go ahead and close your form. Pushing F9 will say what’s in the first textbox, F10 the second, F11 the third, and F12 the fourth.

These sentences are stored and opened up everytime you close/start Hyrule Online, so you won’t have to retype it for each session. Additionally, you have your choice of four chat macros per player, so in all you have twelve slots for chat macros. Four for each character. Voila. Chat macros are now 100% functional, and you can use them to your convenience.
