In other news, i know alot of you are wondering “Where the hell is 1.7!?”

Well we are all wondering the same thing ourselves.  The few bugs that exist within the 1.7 code are tricky buggers, the issue is with the way the maps are now rendered, all of the map drawing subs and functions were completely redone!  We are working on it and hope to have some real, concrete news within a few days for you guys.

if you haven’t changed the IP in your config file there is no need to now.
Admin has supplied me with all the info to keep his DNS up to date with my own IP.

Ok beautiful Comcast decided to cycle my IP for some really odd reason today, i’ve had the same IP for a good 6 months at least.
The no-ip info for our DNS name, hyruleonline.no-ip.info is probably the ONLY thing I don’t have a password to, cause I never needed it.
the server IS up, but you must do a few things to access it
First, go into the folder where you have Hyrule Online, find the file named config.ini and open it in notepad
the second line should say
IP=hyruleonline.no-ip.info
change that line to
IP=hyrulemmo.no-ip.org
save and exit
connect and play
Or you can just wait a few hours for admin to get my PM and update the dns that is already in your config file.

ok i’ve had enough of this downtime, we’re so close to being ready for 1.7, but everyone wants to play NOW!
so i’m throwing up 1.6
everyone is encouraged to update your passwords and if the client tells you your password is wrong, just use your old one.
we’ll be restoring an update from the weekend that everything started getting so crazy…so expect to have something to play within the next hour or so.

uuuh yeah, so i keep saying things like TOMORROW or FRIDAY or whatever as far as release date.

Well Monoxide is doing his best and he’s pretty sure he has almost all of the bugs fixed and everything, like I said before he just isn’t a robot.

We are hoping to be ready to release tonight, thankyou all for your patience, we’re doing our best get back up and running.

Ok guys I just spoke with monoxide and he says we’re 99% on everything but he isn’t a robot, he is only human and he requires sleep!

BUT he assures me that tomorrow we will be ready, so everyone stay tuned right here!

Ok so I have A server up right now. Maps have all been cleared out.
Everyone gets level 2(mapper) access as they join. Pick a map between 1 and 600 and /warpto #.
use /editmap to bring up the map editor.
use /maprerport to display a list of maps that you can double click and warpto the map.
/warptome and /warpmeto are disabled for level 2 and lower access.
/strike /kick and /ban are also disabled for level 2 and lower
This is just so that everyone has something fun and creative to do until we are ready to officially release 1.7
who knows, maybe we’ll find some good mappers

we’ll get the server up eventually, they’re still working on stuff and doing an amazing job.
we have to troubleshoot a few glitches here and there, of course with a massive rewrite like this you’ll have a few hitches to get through.
