ok i’ve had enough of this downtime, we’re so close to being ready for 1.7, but everyone wants to play NOW!
so i’m throwing up 1.6
everyone is encouraged to update your passwords and if the client tells you your password is wrong, just use your old one.
we’ll be restoring an update from the weekend that everything started getting so crazy…so expect to have something to play within the next hour or so.

we shouldve really taken a vote here, although i appreciate the help the admins and mods are giving us, I’d prefer it if we let them have the whole server to work on, itd take a while longer to do if they put 1.6 back up. Besides, can’t we all just stop complaining?…I mean, a few people had to have agreed right?

This server is running independent from the update we’re working on. At most, all we’re going to do with this server is bring it back up if it goes down. All the work being done by Monoxide, James and Goron will be done when they get it done. This isn’t getting in their way, so no worries. Just be patient, everyone.

ofcorse things wont quite be right …. its a back up from some other time … somethings will have reverted back … on a personal note yes im eager to play, but im holding out for the new release as 1) i wanna farm rupees 2) there are some guild matters i wish to see for myself ingame …. 3) should my suspicions be confirmed break off and go back to my own guild and save for a guild place… non of which will be worth while incase it all reverts back on the next client release… but i am not complaining … as if i feel i want to play for the social aspect, i shall ^_^ and i thank the staff at HO for their vigilance to try and please everyone… now how about you guys play and realise ‘Hey … atleast im able to play.. so what if my rupees are 2K short .. or i just lost 2 levels… ‘ just enjoy it and be thankful =] *breathes*

Did you seriously just ask that? How many times did Gun say that the mapping wasn’t permanent, and neither were the account changes… If anything from that weekend were permanent everyone would be level 100, have infinite rupees, and the maps would all be fucked up. So please think before you ask questions such as that one.
gun even said about what the mapping was about, i think in two places, vid and update
he said something about not worrying about mapping, just that they have saved all information and anything you do from this point won’t be saved. (hard to explain, hard to understand.)
