Tips and Tricks for playing
Written by Krusuphy
In this guide i will tell you some tips and tricks for Hyrule Online. Some may not be able to occur yet, but maybe in the future.
Wolfpacking
This method can be very useful in guilds. When leveling up, Gather a friend or two before going out hunting. invite them into your party so you can share the EXP you gather. This method helps with large amounts of enemies, as to help prevent being surrounded and killed off one by one. Make sure you stick close, As to ensure safety.Banking (Not True, only items that is equipped can be dropped)
In the case of dropping all items upon death, You may get very frustrated. Banking is the Solution within Guilds. Once you decide upon a Guild Banker, give them all of your rupees. Do not do this without trust, because at any moment, a banker may turn sides and give away all your rupees. any trustworthy member will be a good banker, and supply you with rupees when needed. Think as one person in a guild, not separated members with a tag!Raiding
Raiding together with your guild can be very helpful, as you can’t finish raiding a temple on you own. If you really want to raid a temple, get into a guild, or find some people to form a party´Luring
When you encounter a group of enemies it is best if you just lure one away from the group. Just run closer and closer to a specific enemy until it starts to follow you everywhere. (Some monsters say or make noises when they see you) Then you can take out the entire group works 95% of the time for me with tougher enemies.Looting(Use this method Carefully, if you loot from a higher level, they may PK you.)
Rupees:
If you are running low on Rupees, This method is a last resort. follow a group (or single) and wait for them to attack a monster. Stay close enough to steal in to grab the Item drops. After the monster is killed, quickly jump onto the tile of the dropped item and take it. I suggest running if your over level 10 along with the lootee, and he is a higher level.
EXP:
If your looking to rob some easy EXP points, this Method could be useful.
stand next to a monster being killed by a fellow player. wait for the monster to get low on health, and jump for a final blow. This will steal the EXP from the lootee. Easy EXP, but you might run if the player is a higher level than you and your over level 10.Attacking Ranger
The following are the attacking ranges of which monsters would fit your level. Some of you may think it different, though this works most accurately for me.
1-5 = Buri
6-10 = Tektite
10/11 = Young Skulltula
12-15 = Wolfos
16-25 = Trolls
26-35 = Skorpido
36-? = Plain SkulltulaWhere to Find What
Buri/Tektite = South of the Market
Wolfos = South of the Tektite/Buri
Young Skulltula = Southwest of the Market
Skorpido/Trolls = South as far as you can go, then West to the Desert.Collecting
Whilst out training for EXP, you may run across a few Daggers, Helmets, and a tunic or two.You may think these things are not useful in any way and just pass them up. Wrong. When you see one, pick it up, and begin to fill your inventory with many of the droppings. Once your inventory is full(Any less isn’t much of a payback,) goto the market and sell your stuff. You’ll find you get around 150 Rupees each time you go back to sell. This can help you if you keep getting PKed and have to rebuy your equipment.
I suggest you start early, because if your getting PKed, you probably wont be given much time to rebuild before you get Killed again.
Level 95+ Money Making Guide
written by Justin
Mages suck for stuff like this, and chances are I will never make a guide for them.
- Adament Helmet
- Adament Platemail
- Adament Sheild
- Skorpido Venom Sting
- 2-3 HP PotsThings you won’t need
- Rupees (I like to bank mine to see how much I collect after every trip)
- Junk clogging your inventory space (The more space you have the better, I’ll get to this a bit later)Okay, now we got that sorted lets begin. First off make your way to the Spirit Temple (make sure you have fixed your items beforehand). Take out the enemies in the first room and pick up all rupees you come across. Take the key and proceed to room 2. Take out the enemies and pick up ALL the pots you come across. Proceed to room 3 with caution make sure you have a good amount of health as this room is kind of tricky. Once completed, pick up all pots, rupees and the key and proceed to room 4. It’s entirely up to if you wish to run through these enemies (I like killing them as you get pots and rupees). When you’ve done that make your way to Taurones (You should have accumulated 1k by now), You may need to use a potion or 2 on this guy because at times he can have a ton of straight powerful hits. Once killed, pick up the drops. You can choose to wait around again if you like but thats up to you, either way the amount of rupees dropped is almost equal as to if you proceed, the only difference is you get the chance of Tauros drops.
If you choose to proceed make sure you kill all the enemies in the next 2 rooms (You may get a very rare spell!). Proceed to the Skorpido King with decent amount of health, once completed take the drops and play the waiting game [12 minutes] (just talk, have a cigarette or whatever), when he respawns kill him again and keep repeating this over and over. The money will accumulate fairly quickly.Don’t go into the next two rooms unless you’re collecting honor. You will lose a few pots and even the chance of losing your items.
Once you’ve finished repair your armor (Always repair your items after every trip!). Deposit the HP into your bank, this saves you from always having to buy new ones and if done correctly you should have more HP pots than you started with. Sell the MP pots to a shop for a 20 rupees each.
I feel that I’m missing something, if I remember anything else, I will update this post.
I hope this helps some of you. I Hope to see you in-game!
